Costs and legal points.
1. What are the fees per week?
2. What are considered extras?
3. What is the availability of the rooms and is there a waiting list?
4. The home must produce a brochure setting out it’s aims and objectives and the facilities offered, plus the terms and conditions of residents contracts of occupancy. Make sure the reality matches the brochure.
5. Before signing any agreement, ensure you have read the contract and speak to your solicitor or financial advisor.
Before you leave, having made notes and taken photos write down your overall impression and score the home out of 10, it will help you make your final decision.
